Statement of Faith
- The Bible is the perfect and all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. // Tim. 3:16-17
- Salvation is by grace, through faith, without works. Eph. 2: 8-10
- Those who are saved by grace, will show it by their good works. Titus 3:8; James 2:18
- Those who are saved by grace are born again, or born of the Spirit of Christ. John 3:3-16; I John 5:1; Eph. 2:1
- Baptism is an immersion in water to symbolize the burial and resurrection of Christ. Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12
- No one should be baptized until he has accepted Jesus Christ ashis personal Lord and Savior. Matt. 3:8; Acts 10:34-48
- The Lord’s Supper is to commemorate the Lord’s sacrificial suffering, His broken body and shed blood. Luke 22:19-20; I Cor. 11:26-28
- No one should partake of the Supper except those who have been saved, scripturally baptized, and are in fellowship with the local New Testament Church partaking in the Supper. Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-42; I Cor. 11:28; I Cor. 5:11; ll Thess. 3:6
- The endeavor of the New Testament Church is to evangelize the world — this makes us Missionary Baptist. Matt. 28:18-20
- When one is saved, he has eternal life, and cannot lose that eternal life. John 5:24; John 10:28-30; Psa. 37:23-24; I Pet. 1:5; Rom. 8:35-39
- Jesus Christ organized the church during His personal ministry on earth. Matt. 16:18; Mark 2:14-20; Luke 6:12-16; I Cor. 12:28; Matt. 18:17
- We believe the Bible to teach the pre-millennial coming of Christ. Rev. 1:7, 19:11-17, 10; Matt. 24:36-41; II Thess. 2:7; I Thess. 4:13-17
- There is eternal joy for the saved and eternal punishment for the unsaved. Dan. 12:2; John 5:29; Rev. 20:15
- The Lord shall return to the earth in person. Acts 1:11
