Ben Woodward – Associate Pastor
I was saved at the age of nine in Belflower, CA and answered God’s call to the ministry in 2000. My greatest burden is to see lost souls come to Jesus Christ. The Lord led our family to join with Heritage Baptist Church in 2007.
I married my best friend, and ministry partner, Terese, in 1993. Throughout my ministry I have worked on the mission field in Central Texas, Peru, South America and Kenya, Africa. In 2009 the Lord called us to serve Him as missionary church planters in Belize, Central America, and Heritage sent us to that field. Over the years, I have served in all areas of student ministry and as interim pastor to revitalize a struggling church in Amarillo, Texas until the Lord provided His permanent pastor three years later. God has been good; He has been faithful, and graciously allowed us to work with some of the best people in the world. We are humbled at His goodness, grateful for His blessings, and anticipate His continued work in our lives. We are honored to have served where we have, and consider it a privilege to serve the Lord once again at Heritage Baptist Church. I look forward to meeting you and to what God has in store for this body.
